During my internship, I took ownership of modernizing core application dependencies, notably driving a major Java version migration strategy across the team. By meticulously resolving dependency conflicts, I eliminated critical security vulnerabilities and ensured compliance. I also developed custom build utilities that simplified dependency management and accelerated the development lifecycle by significantly reducing build times. Recognizing the importance of reliability, I championed testing by introducing robust unit tests for newly decoupled microservices using advanced testing frameworks, resulting in a dramatic increase in overall code coverage. I actively participated in infrastructure and operations by executing hybrid deployments across On-Premises and Kubernetes environments leveraging Helm charts. Through load testing and performance validation, I ensured that high-volume processor services maintained strict latency requirements at scale. This internship solidified my foundations in microservices deployment, infrastructure management, and maintaining code quality in complex enterprise systems.
